DESCRIPTION:The Capitola-Soquel Chamber of Commerce will host a Capitola City Council Candidate Forum at the City of Capitola Council Chambers on Tuesday\, October 4th\, from 6pm to 8pm. Forum will be moderated by former Capitola Mayor Mike Termini.\n\n\n\nThere are five candidates running for three seats:\n\n\n	Enrique Dolmo\, Jr.\n	Joe Clarke\n	Alexander Pedersen\n	Gerry Jensen\n	Yvette Lopez Brooks - Incumbent\n\n\nCandidates will have the opportunity to state their vision\, priorities and answer questions.\n\n\n\nThe Chamber encourages the community to submit advance questions by October 3rd via email or by calling the Capitola-Soquel Chamber of Commerce at 831-475-6522. \n\nThe public can choose to attend in person or watch via remote access. \n\nTo watch remotely:\n\n\n	Spectrum Cable Television Channel 8\n	City of Capitola\, California YouTube Channel\n\n\nView Candidate Statements here\n\n\n\nThe Capitola City Council is composed of five council members\, all of whom are directly elected by registered voters who reside in Capitola City Limits. Council Members serve four-year terms\, and can only be re-elected once before terming out. Council elects a mayor and vice mayor annually.\n\nThe next election in which Council Members will be elected is November 8\, 2022\, when three seats will be up for election/re-election.
