Small Business Saturday is an annual shopping tradition dedicated to supporting small businesses and celebrating communities across the country. This day is celebrated every year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, the busiest shopping day of the year. This is the day that Surfin' Santa makes his wave riding arrival to the shores of Capitola Beach. Help us greet him on the beach at 12pm, and make a day of it! Soak up the holiday charm of a beach visit with Santa, enjoy festive entertainment with the faeries from Happily Every Laughter, magic from The Surfing Magician, refreshments, shopping and dining at your favorite Capitola Village shops and restaurants, and a tree lighting at 5pm in front of Mijo's Taqueria and Souza's Ice Cream.
